Successful Year for the Faculty of Water Sciences in the Restore4Life Project
The Faculty of Water Sciences celebrated a highly successful year as part of the Horizon Europe-funded Restore4Life project, dedicated to restoring wetland ecosystems in the Danube Basin. The initiative focuses on developing innovative restoration solutions and engaging local communities to safeguard vital wetland habitats.
A key highlight of the year was the visit of Dr. Marian Tudor, PhD, under the Ludovika Scholars program. Dr. Tudor delivered two captivating lectures on the restoration of wetland habitats in the Danube Delta, sharing valuable insights into ecosystem management and sustainability practices.
